The mission of MuseMinded (http://museminded.com/about-story/) is to help automate (as much as currently possible) the accounting process for Amazon sellers… and more than that: we want to help them turn accounting into a strategic strength for their business, not just an afterthought to file taxes.
We have about a half dozen administrative processes that are pretty easy to pick up but play a very critical role in the work we do for our clients.
We’re looking for an organized and articulate team player to come in and learn these processes, then execute on them to a high degree of excellence.
Tasks include things like data entry, managing spreadsheet calculations, and reviewing reports for errors.
Because we work in a COMPLETELY virtual environment, it is critical that each of our team members understands and embraces our company culture.

We’re looking for a Virtual Assistant who resonates with the three statements above, and who possesses the following qualities:
- Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to spot typos, grammatical errors, and the smallest formatting mistakes with ease.
- Well-organized, efficient.
- An action-taker.
You’ll need to be experienced with these tools:
- Google Apps (Docs & particularly Google Sheets)
The following attributes are a huge plus, but not required:
- Mac user
- Experienced with Xero cloud accounting software
- Trello or other project management systems
- Located in the Eastern or Central time zones
The position will begin at around 10 hrs per week and may expand to 15 - 20 hrs per week as the work progresses.
Apart from limited meetings, nearly all work can be done on your own schedule at any time of the day.
The starting pay rate for this position is $16/hr and will likely increase to $20/hr over the first year.
This is a position for someone looking to become a long term member of our team.
